Core Expertise and Strengths:  I have built my career and reputation in the area of sales/marketing and product management, along with the ability to understand and effectively manage people.  I have earned the reputation as a master salesman, primarily in the area of consultative sales.  People listen when I speak and trust what I have to say because what I say comes from knowledge and an understanding of what they need, not what I want to sell them.  I have also earned the reputation as master marketer as I have repeatedly been able to use market research and market intelligence to identify market opportunities and have the understanding of all the marketing tools to effectively take an audience through the sales cycle from awareness to preference to purchase.  I have repeatedly taken underperforming products and repositioned them as leaders gaining market share and profits that no one believed were possible.  But my ability to understand and motivate people is the underlying talent that drives everything.   For customers I look beyond the features and business needs to how it will positively effective them personally, I strive for an emotional response not just an intellectual one.  With the people that work with me I don't assign work I create a mission that they sign up for and own, that will lead them to accomplishing their personal and professional goals.  It is this understanding of people and motivations that underlies my reputation as visionary.  Combining an understanding of what is possible technologically, with peoples beliefs, needs and motivations, and finally market and business requirements will provide a clear picture of what is possible in the future.
